The windy muddy Mekong flowing out through the Delta, rice fields and fish farms, conical hat wearing locals bouncing through market stalls pushing their goods along, freshly baked bread inherited from their French colonial tinged history, flashing lights of Saigon, walls of motorbikes queuing at traffic lights, sophisticated style abound amidst communist throwbacks. A country dripping in  history and suffering yet has transformed itself into a bustling  modern culture that still retains its traditional past.
