The Mediterranean country so close to my heart. Having lived here on and off for over four years, there is still so much to discover. Lost abandoned villages tucked away in vast dusty landscapes, the rolling sheep-covered hills of the Basque country, the wine-filled regions and gorgeous beaches of Cataluyna, the Camino Santiago that winds across the north of the country ending up in the magical octopus stuffed rural province of Galicia, historic plazas oozing with stories from the past, hidden traditions carried down from generation to generation. A country full of scars from its bloody past, yet full of hope and creativity for the future. Spain I love you and I salute you. You will remain with me forever.
